Our Classic Side Cutter (Nipper) with Slim Jaw is our workhose hobby side cutters. Designed specifically for scale modellers and hobbyists alike, these side cutters are perfect for cutting ABS and rigid Polystyrene.

With a long narrow tip for reaching into small parts and between runners, and a double sided blade to ensure clean cuts from any direction, our design and specifications ensure clean cuts, every time.

High carbon steel construction and heat treatment for strength ensure the Hobby RG Classic Side Cutter is sure to become the first tool of choice for all your plastic cutting needs.

Care:
A clean and well maintained set of nippers is a happy nipper! Hobby RG recommends periodically lubing the nipper pivot with a light oil to maintain optimal operation. Clean the side cutter with some light oil and a clean rag. Leave a thin film behind to help prevent corrosion.

Caution:
To avoid blade damage, do not use excessive cutting or clamping force. Over compressing the blades will cause the blades to blunt prematurely and could cause them to break. Such damage is not covered under warranty.
